A Qualifying workshop is a prerequisite for Veriditas Facilitator Training. Workshops are typically five to eight hours in length, and are based on a particular topic or theme and consist of informational content, experiential processing and a labyrinth walk. Attending a qualifying workshop provides participants with the embodied experience of how Veriditas trained faculty present and work with the labyrinth.

Facilitator Training
The goal of Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training is to prepare people to introduce others to the labyrinth in an articulate, professional and effective way. It is sixteen hours of standardized classroom training with a manual titled “Facilitating the Labyrinth is a Spiritual Path.” Training usually includes a labyrinth walk. The training empowers facilitators from all walks of life to introduce the labyrinth in their setting as a positive and enriching experience.
Once a person has completed Facilitator Training they can call themselves a Veriditas Trained Facilitator.
Must be completed within one year of attending Facilitator Training. It is a self-paced certification process in which the applicant leads three labyrinth walks which are evaluated by three different people from their community (other than family members). The applicant must submit information about each walk, the evaluator and information about any publicity that was done to advertise their labyrinth walks. The applicant then writes a three page self-reflection paper and submits this together with their walk information and Certification fee, to the Veriditas Certification Committee for review.
On approval, the person may then call themselves a Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitator.
Advanced Facilitator Training
Advanced Facilitator Training is a leadership and skill-building workshop for Veriditas Certified Labyrinth Facilitators with a minimum of two years experience facilitating labyrinth activities. The goal of Advanced Training is to enhance and expand facilitation skills of already experienced labyrinth facilitators.
Once completed, the person may call themselves a Veriditas Advanced Trained Labyrinth Facilitator
After completing Advanced Training, you have the opportunity to be authorized to offer Veriditas Approved Qualifying Workshops. If you are authorized, participants who attend your Veriditas Approved Qualifying Workshops will be able to subsequently attend Veriditas Facilitator Training.
